Job Title Trainee Account Manager

Department Group – consisting of Waste & Utilities

Reporting To Head of Operations

Position Type Full Time

Salary  £16,500 plus benefits such as Health Cash plan, EAP, Pension etc.

 

ROLE

The role operates under the main aim of working towards becoming an Account Manager where you will be driving revenue, exceeding targets and building long-term relationships with your existing portfolio of assigned customers.  Liaising with suppliers and our internal teams, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of services to meet the customer needs. The role will initially be in a training capacity with the view to becoming an Account Manager.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve/exceed portfolio target in line with business objectives

• Deliver positive customer service experience by listening to customers, understanding and acting on their individual requirements, building and maintaining long lasting customer relationship

• Manage expectations of waste / utility customers

• Deliver customer reporting requirements in timely and accurate manner

• Supporting accounts held by other members of the team where necessary

• General administration duties to include accurate CRM data input, Outlook, Excel etc.

• Managing own workload, responding promptly to customer queries

• Escalate challenges as needed in order to prevent any loss of business

• Pricing and analysis of the new / existing business, following up on each quote sent out

• Close / source opportunities by securing contracts with suppliers / agents

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Thrives in a fast paced, sometimes pressurised, customer focused environment requiring a high degree of flexibility whilst retaining business disciplines

• Possess excellent organisation and time management skills

• Exceptional customer services skills

• Excellent listening, negotiation and selling skills

• A strong understanding of all Microsoft based applications

• Professional and clear communicator internal and external facing, both written and verbal

• Ability to turn a negative situation into a positive experience

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Previous account management or other relevant experience

• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time whilst paying strict attention to detail

• Ability to problem solve

• In-depth knowledge of the industries and its current events

• The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

• Good knowledge of the waste and / or utility sector

Job Title : Telemarketing Executive

Department Group – Sales

Reporting To Campaign Manager

Position Type Full Time

ROLE

As our Telemarketing Executive, you'll prospect new customers directly by telephone to make sales appointments, as well as converting incoming enquiries for our field sales representatives. You will work directly alongside the Campaign Manager, to ensure that meetings are booked within the sales blue print and campaign strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity suited to a target-driven professional with ideally 1 year B2B telesales/canvassing experience.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this target driven role you will be responsible for making outbound calls to businesses promoting all of Blue Castle services.

The main duties include;

• Working closely with the Campaign Manager to ensure a strategic approach to appointment setting

• Establish relationships with key decision makers within the Industry sectors you are targeting

• Prospecting via telephone targeted leads and new business opportunities

• Create and effectively manage a sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM

• Achieve pre-set KPI’s such as call targets and number of qualified appointments

• Cross Selling across our 4 core service offerings; Waste Management, Energy, Water and Telecoms

• Work to agreed activity levels (calls/appointments)

• Generate appointments for our field sales representatives

 

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Minimum 1 year experience within a telemarketing role

• Self-motivated, target driven, career minded

• Excellent telephone manner and strong communications skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Motivated by sales and possess high energy levels

• Friendly personality and team player

• Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
