Why recycle?

There are so many reasons to recycle - it's better for the environment, and it can even be cheaper than sending waste to landfill. In some cases, recycling firms will actually pay for the materials you don't want.

We're passionate about recycling because it makes good sense. Recycling a tonne of paper saves approximately 14 trees, plus around two cubic metres of forestry space. It's also more efficient to recycle paper than make it from virgin wood pulp, using around 65% less energy and 50% less water, and causing 72% less air pollution.

Paper and plastic

The easy solution to waste paper and vending-machine cups is recycling bin, placed around your office and collected by us. However much waste you produce, we'll work out how much capacity you need and how often you need us to make collections. We also recycle all confidential waste once it's been securely destroyed.

Fluorescent lighting

Fluorescent tubes are one of the most common forms of commercial lighting. In the UK, 70 million spent tubes end up in landfill each year. Using the latest technology, we can recycle 97% of them - meaning the vast majority of components are used to form new products.

Toner cartridges

Only half the 6 million toner cartridges used each year in the UK are recycled - we could be doing much, much better. As well as collecting your used toner cartridges, we can also help you buy cost-effective recycled and recyclable replacements.

Wood and metal

We can oversee the removal of wood waste and see it transformed into mulch, which can then be used as pathway or play surfaces, animal bedding or panel boards for use in construction, furniture or packaging.
