Blue Castle wins new waste collection contract with Center Parcs.

Blue Castle Business Services Ltd in parternership with Midland Skip Hire, The specialist in waste management solutions, are pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new contract with Center Parcs for the Waste Removal from the Sherwood Forest Location.
This will include weekly waste collections, Confidential Paper destruction & Hazardous waste.
This is the start of a long and lasting relationship with Center Parcs.

Transport Manager

We are delighted to announce an addition to the team.

Paul Walters has joined as 'Transport & Logistics Manager' and will be based at our 'Long Bennington Office’.

Paul has worked at Blue Castle for a few months in various roles and is suited to this position.

Landfill TAX increase

Further to the Government’s ongoing program of increasing Landfill Tax, we are again faced with informing you of unavoidable increases. To limit this, our policy has been to invest in the most efficient and innovative recycling equipment as we look to stay ahead of our competitors.

Despite the significant price increases the waste industry faces, we endeavour to keep the cost of our services to you to a minimum but do need to inform you of the additional charges which will take effect from April 1^st 2009.

The increase which will be applied has been spread across the sector and applied on the tax element, raising tax by 25% from £32 to £40 per tonne.
